Works in Progress

Posted on: November 30th, 2011 0 comment

My Fiance thinks I’m crazy, but I don’t feel quite right unless I have a mountain of projects at any given time.  Here are a few of my “works in progress” as far as DIY audio gear goes.  I’ll make individual pages for anything that is really cool, but for now I’ll just list everything that is sitting around in pieces.

The List:

(In no certain order)

  • Pico Stereo Compressor – Normal 1U Version w/ no modifications
  • Pico Stereo Compressor – Custom 2U “Mastering Version” w/ Switchable O/P Transformers
  • APSI EQs – Have a pair in a chassis, need to stuff I/O Amp cards and finish wiring
  • Power Supply for Classic API 500 Series Rack – Metalwork done, just needs wiring
  • CJ12 – C-12 Microphone clone, with my own personal “twist”, funky colors classic sound

Another new website

I’ve had a website for a while, but I haven’t kept up with it.  So I decided if I converted everything over to a WordPress site, perhaps I’d be a little more inclined to sit down and update from time to time.  My hope is to have sections of this site devoted to both my recording projects, but also to my other passion recording electronics design and repair.  This site transformation might take a little while to complete and like my personal studio, it may never be done.  But I look forward to updating this site regularly and watching how it develops over time.
